WVPSSL requires two grounded 120 volt branch circuits rated 20 amps or more which
2) serve no other loads on the premises, and 3) terminate in standard electrical outlets located within ten feet of the stage OR access to a 120/240 volt single-phase or 120/208 volt three-phase service panel rated 100 amps or better or sub panel rated 60 amps or better located within fifty feet of the stage and having at least two adjacent open breaker spaces or two adjacent unused breakers rated 20 amps or more OR for outdoor events, one reliable, fully fueled 10 kVA or larger 120/240 volt single-phase electrical generator located between fifty and eighty feet from the stage, properly grounded and bonded per NEC article 250-30 (grounding separately derived AC systems) and suitably situated or shielded to keep noise from the stage and audience. The Buyer shall ensure that all electrical wiring, outlets, panels and equipment that are provided for WVPSSL's use meet national and local electrical codes especially with regard to grounding (NEC article 250). The Buyer shall instruct the venue's electrician or other qualified person to contact WVPSSL if there is ANY question whatsoever regarding the suitability of the power supply. Because of the susceptability to damage of sensitive sound, lighting and computer equipment used by WVPSSL, WVPSSL shall not be obligated to begin, continue or complete any performance, and shall not suffer loss of compensation, if there is insufficient voltage (<110 volts at peak demand), if there are recurring interruptions of power, or if a hazardous electrical system is provided. An extra 20 amp circuit MAY be required at events that feature any act that has an unusually large stage equipment current requirement. |
